Last Christmas at the Davis' Moraga Home

When we decided in the summer of 2017 to pretty much travel full time that meant that we would be selling our home of 38 years.  So Mary immediately put everyone on notice that there would be a last family Christmas and she wanted everyone to come...and they all made it.  

Over the years Mary had a hobby of making hand made Christmas ornaments.  So one of the activities was to allow everyone to select one for themselves.  

There were a few other decorations that she offered up.

The house was decorated up nicely for the holidays.

They all helped decorate the tree...and it was pretty awesome with lots of presents under it.

Given that it was California, the weather wasn't too cold out so the Chloe and Liam spent some time outside with Uncle Josh and Aunt Vanessa.

But most of the time was spent inside visiting.

Everyone helped with the cooking...

and we had a big spread in the dining room.

We had a fun time opening presents.

The house was light up with all of our wonderful Christmas lights.

Vanessa had to leave a day early to get back to work so she is missing from this photo...but we got everyone else out on the front step for a last picture before they all headed home.  It was a wonderful last Christmas in our beloved home.
